The former Palace of Fine Arts building from the World's Columbian Exposition now houses the Museum of Science and Industry. It is the only fair building that remains in Chicago, and it provides us with our one glimpse of how the White City might have looked in 1893. Imagine if the other 199 fair buildings were even half as grand.
