Matthew Taplinger is a 28-year-old photographer based out of the city of Chicago. With a background in photojournalism and a slightly skewed documentary-style approach, he attempts to show his surroundings, both living and non-living, in a way that brings out their everyday psychedelic qualities.
After living in Detroit for several years post-graduation, he ditched his car in favor of a bicycle back in the summer of '02, and hasn't looked back. For more, check out his website at nonformat.org
