Detour

In the past year, Gapers Block has presented several photo essays featuring Chicago photographers looking at specific subjects, such as Lake Michigan or the seasons. This year, rather than focus on a topic, we wanted to showcase the talents of individual artists.

And so, this week we're launching a new monthly exhibition series, featuring a photographer or other visual artist's work.

This month we feature photographer Archie FlorCruz, who has been a regular contributor to Rearview and a supporter of the site. We like his work a heck of a lot and we're proud to start off this new feature with him on board. We hope you'll enjoy it, too.
