The CTA is holding a series of public meetings to gather input on the proposed Circle Line. According to their news release, "The meetings are part of the Alternatives Analysis study — the first step in pursuing federal funding for major transit projects. The Alternatives Analysis study is designed to examine all the transit options available and determine a locally preferred alternative." Warriors & Queens features the work of choregraphers who are grappling with gender and sexuality. Rachel Thorne-Germond of RTG Dance performs Marilyn and Elvis in Splendor Twice: Gender Splendor. Breakbone DanceCo presents excerpts from datastarve quartet, which pits fashion mavens in platform shoes against punk-rock Amazons. Peter Carpenter presents a solo work about queer cowboys, and the ever-entertaining Matthew Hollis rounds out the evening.
