Opening: Duchess of Malfi @ Writers Theater
The Duchess of Malfi may have been written by one of Shakespeare's contemporaries; but if feels more like a modern day mafia movie. There's a secret marriage, a series of betrayals, a poisoned Bible, and a whole lot of blood. Written by John Webster, and adapted and directed by Michael Halberstam, a new production opens at the Writers Theater (325 Tudor Court, Glencoe) this evening, at 7:30pm.
