The Chicago Park District's Theater on the Lake series of plays continues this evening. Each week a new play will be offered at the Theater on the Lake stage at 2401 N. Lake Shore Drive. This week's play is No Danger of the Spiritual Thing: Short Works of Samuel Beckett by the Curious Theatre Branch. This play will be performed Wednesday, June 28 through Sunday, July 2. Told through the choreography of Twyla Tharp and music of Billy Joel, Movin' Out is the story of two turbulent decades that change a group of friends and the world around them forever. Lori Andrews new novel Sequence combines the thriller genre with the author's background in biotechnology. The book follows a geneticist dealing with a serial killer who is targeting military bases.
