20% Theatre Co. Fundraiser
The 20% Theatre Company is holding a benefit party tonight from 8pm to 10pm at The Spot, 4437 N. Broadway. The $15 admission gets you an open bar, participation in a raffle, and supports the theatre company as they prepare to mount Jane: Abortion and the Underground, a new play by Paula Kamen.

Bookslut presents a reading by authors Laura Kipnis, Barbara J. King, and Lauren Sand at the Hopleaf Bar. The reading will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Hopleaf Bar, 5148 N. Clark Street, in Andersonville (Argyle or Berwyn Redline El stops, Clark or Damen bus).

Darkroom 4th Anniversary Party
Four years do fly by! The Darkroom has a great line up of their family of DJs including DJ Kellz who will be tickling your ears with a little funk, soul, and disco; Arunas along with buddy Arturo doing their "mixtape DJ" thing where anything goes; and DJ Brian Jones who is well known at Darkroom for his classic '80s "get up and shake your booty" set.
