Organized by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, this commemoration of the life of Milton Friedman starts at 2 PM in Rockefeller Chapel at the corner of Woodlawn Avenue and 59th Street. Economist Gary Becker will be among the speakers.

Theatre Building Chicago is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a one-night performance of a work in progress, DESPAIRadise. The production is described on their website as: "Nihilist European art film makers learn the meaning of despair when their director discovers love and happiness."
