Facets Night School: Crumb

Facets Multimedia presents the second session of Facets Night School, midnight screenings of classic and cult movies with discussions about each film. Tonight's film is Crumb, Terry Zwigoff's unsettling documentary of cartoonist R. Crumb. Facets employee Jenny Grist leads a post-screening discussion. Harvey Danger @ Schubas

Would you like to publish zines and rage against machines tonight? Nerd rockers Harvey Danger are rolling through Chicago tonight on their last EVER tour. These two shows at Schubas will be their final Chicago dates. The early show starts at 7 pm and is 18+. The late show starts at 10 pm and is 21+. Tickets for both shows are $14 and can be bought on the Schubas site, but the late show is already sold out and there are only a handful of tickets left for the early show (sorry underagers!). Mid-America Bonsai Exhibition @ Chicago Botanical Garden

Mr. Miyagi will be proud of you for attending the 33rd annual Mid-America Bonsai Exhibition at the Chicago Botanic Garden, 1000 Lake Cook Road in Glencoe today from 9am-5pm. You can buy them, look at them, take a workshop (registration required), or take a walk around the Botanical Garden (which is amazing, by the way). Admission is free; parking is $20 per car.

Windy City Rib Fest @ Union Park

Music and ribs are on the bill for the first annual Windy City RIb Fest at Union Park, 1501 W. Randolph St. Admission $7. Event runs noon-10pm.

Vaudezilla's Absolut Sexy Show @ The Exit

Vaudezilla, the Burlesque Beast, attacks tonight Saturday August 15th with The Absolut Sexy Show at the Exit (1315 W North Avenue, 773-395-2700) featuring two different performances at 11 pm and 2 am. Tonight's burlesque bad girls include Red Hot Annie, Wham Bam Pam, and Maria May I. There will be a punk rock red carpet from 10 pm- 11 pm where you pose for pictures with your favorite vixens. The Fest for Beatles Fans

The annual Fest for Beatles Fans continues today at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare (9300 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Rosemont) and runs through Sunday the 16th.
